Water Corporation 2024 North West Region High Voltage Maintenance Program
HV WA was engaged by Water Corporation Pilbara Region to perform essential maintenance and upgrades on the 33kV supply line for the Burrup Desalination Plant. In addition to these works HV WA also completed the North West Region 12 monthly maintenance program across the West and East Pilbara and the East Kimberley regions, completing all essential maintenance and testing on all of the Water Corporations overhead and underground High Voltage assets.
Scope
The scope of work included insulator washing, comprehensive powerline inspections, and the replacement of pole top cable terminations. Additionally, HV WA replaced two pole top switches, ensuring the continued reliability and safety of the power supply to this critical infrastructure. These tasks were carried out with precision to maintain optimal operation in the harsh conditions of the Pilbara region.
